2026 Scholarship Applications Are Now Open

The Alberta Golf Foundation, established in 1994, has remained committed to supporting students in their pursuit of post-secondary education since its inception. Each year, the Foundation awards approximately $75,000 in scholarship funding to more than 40 deserving recipients. In 2025, $76,000 in scholarships were awarded to 44 students. Applications for 2026 are now open and will close on July 15, 2026.

2026 Scholarship Application

These scholarships are made possible through the generous support of individual donations from competitors, endowments from loyal patrons and supporters of the game of golf, as well as proceeds generated through casino fundraising initiatives.

Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement and financial need, with no golf experience or playing ability required. Applicants are not required to attend a post-secondary institution within Alberta; however, all applicants must be residents of Alberta.
