Randy Robb, Team Alberta Boys Coach

Randy is in his 13th year as provincial coach for the province of Alberta. He spent 13 years at the Pinebrook Golf and Country Club in a variety of roles including as the clubs Head Professional. He is a PGA of Canada member and has an extensive playing resume and competes in provincial and national events on a regular basis. He has been leading the Edge School golf program for the past 12 years and has seen 20 graduates from that program move on to play college golf in the USA. He has won the Alberta PGA Junior Leader of the Year three times. 

Luke Workman, Team Alberta Girls Coach

Luke is a PGA of Canada Class A Teaching Professional. Having grown up in Calgary, Luke was introduced to golf of golf at an early age, and starting playing on a regular basis at the age of 13.  The camaraderie and personal challenge of golf immediately attracted him to the game. He joined Pinebrook Golf and Country Club as a staff member at the age of 17 and began cultivating his interest in the business of the sport.

As an accredited coach through the PGA of Canada and a Titleist Performance Institute Level 2 junior coach, Luke is also the Director of Golf Operations and Head Coach of the National Sport Academy golf program, Director of Instruction and Junior Development Coach at Pinebrook Golf & Country Club. Luke was the recipient of the 2012 PGA of Alberta’s Junior Leader of the Year Award and has taught students who have gone on to play on Team Alberta, Team Canada and achieve NCAA scholarships.

John Deneer, Development Team Boys Coach

John is a PGA of Canada Class A Teaching Professional and is based out of Bearspaw Country Club in Calgary. He is the Junior Development Coordinator at Bearspaw and assists with tournament coordination with the Maple Leaf Junior Tour.

John is a Coach of New Competitors (CNC) trained and is a Teaching Coaching Certification Program (TCCP) level 4 certified instructor. Along with these teaching certifications, John is also the founder and lead instructor at Junior Development Golf which focuses on high level coaching for junior golfers.
