With the new hdcping system being introduced at the beginning of March, the Victoria Day Ladies club is wondering if we could get a representative from the AGA to attend our General Meeting on Tuesday, April 17th to talk about this new system. Several golf courses actually did u00a0shut down when the reassessment of property taxes took place several years ago. I am happy that the point was discussed and hope it can lead to a more benefical resolution for the both the golf courses and their patrons.

Most courses already have teeboxes in place for every level of golfer but it seems the golfer cannot place himself on the proper teebox which leads to frustration for him and all who are following him around the course.nI have played courses where they ask the handicap and tell the player which tee he/she will use. Makes for a much more enjoyable round for all!!

Well all par 4′s being 400 yards is a bit of a stretch and certainly not for women. Shorter is good but haven’t most courses already made that step? Maybe special speed play short courses with really big holes. Who knows! I think it is demographics and the economy.

Fully agree with shorter courses. A number of Northern courses have adopted a recommended tee based on a players handicap. To do this adequately we should ensure that all courses are rated for both men and ladies for all available tees.

Yeah fro playing from the FORWARD tees….for many golfers, the tees are already in place…..time to check the ego and moveup a box or two….try it, you may be very surprised….cheers,tt.
