The Hall of Fame inductees are players who shall:

  2. Be, at least, 55 years of age at the time of consideration;
  3. Be a resident of the territory served by the AGA during the period of accomplishments;
  4. Be an amateur golfer during the period of accomplishments;
  5. Be a person who has brought recognition to Alberta primarily through a) excellence in golf championship play at the international, national, regional, and/or provincial level; and/or b) outstanding contributions of time and effort in the advancement of golf, all with exemplary conduct.

Members may be persons either living or deceased who are or have at some time been Alberta citizens.

Distinguished Service Award honorees shall:

  1. Have resided within the AGA territorial boundaries when the majority of extraordinary contributions to the AGA and amateur golf were made.
  2. Have made a significant contribution to the AGA. However, service to other national, regional, state/provincial or local golf associations may be taken into account.
  3. Be selfless and have devoted service “Above and beyond the call of duty.”
  4. Be recipients of the highest character and integrity who embody the true spirit of amateur golf and have worked to protect and foster its traditions in Alberta.

Male or female recipients may be living (no age restriction) or deceased.

Nomination forms must be submitted to the AGA by June 1st each year.
